We are very proud to present our project in the San Sebastian region, carried out in collaboration with GEOGRAMA !
To improve road management in the department, mobile mapping was carried out over 1,800 kilometers.
Before this operation, the data was only available for download, but now with our GeoCassini platform, any user can view the roads in detail, centimeter by centimeter.
This reality capture operation allows :
- to visualize the road network online, with point cloud and 360 images
- to perform measurements directly on our GeoCassini platform (distances, coastlines for example)
- to implement immersive management for the region, using LiDAR point clouds

During the second half of 2024, the Department of Mobility, Tourism and Territorial Planning of the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa called upon Geograma's GeoCassini platform so that any user could perform 3D measurements on point clouds and 360° images of the Gipuzkoa region.
The city hall technicians, with the help of Geograma, have integrated GeoCassini into the download functionality of the Gipuzkoa Map Viewer .
Follow these steps to try it:
1. Access the Gipuzkoa map viewer.
2. Activate the download grid by clicking the button in the toolbar.
3. In the "Downloads from Grids" dialog box, select Mobile Mapping.
4. Click on a grid and at the bottom of the dialog box you can access the GeoCassini viewer for point clouds and 360° images.
5. Any user will be able to navigate the point cloud or 360° images, perform coordinate, distance and area measurements, and modify the appearance of the point cloud by color, height, intensity or intensity gradient.

The Gipuzkoa Provincial Council also offers a platform for registered users who can access advanced features for creating profiles and calculating volumes on point clouds, viewing and managing 3D and BIM models, viewing CAD plans, and much more. All of this is available online as a SaaS service with surprisingly short implementation times.
