What is the “Solar Impulse” Foundation ?
The Foundation’s goal is to bridge the gap between ecology and economy by reducing our impact on the environment while promoting economic development.

What is the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label?
“Created by the Swiss explorer Bertrand Piccard following his world tour in a solar plane, the Solar Impulse Foundation has set itself an ambitious new challenge, namely to identify, select and promote 1000 clean technologies that protect the environment from profitable way: the #1000Solutions Challenge.”

“To select these solutions, the Foundation has launched the Solar Impulse Efficient Solutions label, which is awarded to clean technologies with a strongly positive environmental impact coupled with a solid economic model, that they allow the consumer to save money, that they whether they create jobs or demonstrate their commercial profitability. This in-depth solution assessment is carried out by a community of over 400 leading experts in areas such as clean energy, water, mobility, recycling, construction, and more.”
