GEOCASSINI AND THE DIGITAL TWINS OF TERRITORY

With GeoCassini, digital territory twins are based on a representation of space in the form of colorized and georeferenced 3D point clouds.

The point clouds are obtained:
• by processing the signal from the lidar sensors
• by digital photogrammetric processing of videos and photos
• by processing the signal from bathymetry and geophysics devices
The lidar surveys are carried out by:

so-called “mobil mapping” equipment on board vehicles

fixed tripod equipment

Note: lidar acquisitions are most often coupled with panoramic photos taken by cameras associated with the lidar sensor. With GeoCassini panoramic photos are managed dynamically and synchronously with point clouds.

With GeoCassini, terrestrial lidar acquisitions can be supplemented by:
• aerial lidar acquisitions of varying densities
• photogrammetric processing of shots from drones
• photogrammetric processing of videos taken with a smartphone,
• Gopro or any type of camera (RezoCassini application)
• photogrammetric processing of videos taken with a 360° camera

GeoCassini makes it possible to enrich the territory’s digital twin with any type of data:

• Open Data (images, point clouds, vectors, etc.)
• GIS imported with or without associated metadata
• Imported CAD

work checks, etc.)
• IFC (point objects and digital models)
• created in GeoCassini either with the “drawing” functions
