With GeoCassini, digital territory twins are based on a representation of space in the form of colorized and georeferenced 3D point clouds.
Example of digital twin on the agglomeration of Cholet (800km² of surface and 1500km of roads)
The point clouds are obtained:
• by processing the signal from the lidar sensors
• by digital photogrammetric processing of videos and photos
• by processing the signal from bathymetry and geophysics devices
The lidar surveys are carried out by:

so-called “mobil mapping” equipment on board vehicles

hand-held mobile equipment

backpack type mobile equipment

fixed tripod equipment

Note: lidar acquisitions are most often coupled with panoramic photos taken by cameras associated with the lidar sensor. With GeoCassini panoramic photos are managed dynamically and synchronously with point clouds.

With GeoCassini, terrestrial lidar acquisitions can be supplemented by:
• aerial lidar acquisitions of varying densities
• photogrammetric processing of shots from drones
• photogrammetric processing of videos taken with a smartphone,
• Gopro or any type of camera (RezoCassini application)
• photogrammetric processing of videos taken with a 360° camera
(sanitation manholes, large diameter pipes, etc.)
(RezoCassini application)
Example of a point cloud produced by the RezoCassini application

GeoCassini makes it possible to enrich the territory’s digital twin with any type of data:

• Open Data (images, point clouds, vectors, etc.)
• GIS imported with or without associated metadata
• Imported CAD
• additional and/or occasional point clouds for updates (detections,
work checks, etc.)
• IFC (point objects and digital models)
• created in GeoCassini either with the “drawing” functions
(points, lines, surfaces) or from #iaas processing
• all types of files used synchronously and dynamically with
GeoCassini’s EDM mode
Verification with RezoCassini of a sanitation manhole

The cross-exploitation of GeoCassini functionalities makes it possible to:

• share and pool data in a totally innovative way
• considerably reduce the costs for each user of a territory digital twin
• enrich and update the digital twin from occasional video captures
• facilitate, improve, accelerate network detection procedures
• revolutionize work verification procedures
Example of a digital twin of flexible networks made with RezoCassini
• propose a new approach to the issues of PCRS and DT/DICT
• realizing a true digital twin of underground infrastructures
• create digital twins for overhead and underground networks facilitate maintenance and operation

– reduce maintenance and operating costs
– reduce the carbon footprint of their maintenance and operation (Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label)
– model the network in IFC format in a simple and fast way
– exploit #iaas algorithms to improve network knowledge,
modeling and operation

Visualization of networks in 3D after vectorization

The application is directly connected with VGIS to identify networks in the field

Example of a digital twin of sewer networks
Survey with RezoCassini of a sewerage network
Survey with a mobile mapping of a fiber optic network

Visualize networks or your projects in augmented reality

• innovate in the management of public space
– land management
– management of the occupation of public space
– inventory of equipment
– track maintenance
– management of green spaces
– regulatory follow-ups, …
• use Augmented Reality (vGis) to identify and locate underground networks.
• associate BIM modeling with the use of digital twins
Example of a study for the installation of solar panels on the roof of a house
Example of layout of a building in a digital twin
• update the data used by the GIS to have reliable and constantly updated data.

use artificial intelligence algorithms to:
– recognitions, automatic censuses
– automatic plots
– climatic studies (flooding, winds, sunshine, etc.)
– environmental studies (pollution, plantations, etc.)
– urbanization studies
– structural studies (pavements, structural work, etc.)
– assistance with urban planning (3D modelling, etc.)
– network modeling and controls

• develop new uses around the enhancement of data by exploiting the GeoCassini MarketPlace.
With GeoCassini, territory digital twins are not limited in size. They can concern areas of several hundred km², as well as much more modest areas.
